A casino is a place that has gambling devices like dice, slot machines and poker. It also has a bar where people can drink. Casinos are very fun to visit but it’s important to manage your time wisely. Casinos usually have a timer on the machine or table you are playing in to keep you from spending too much money. It’s also important to know the rules of each game before you roll the dice or bet on a card. This way you can make better decisions and not waste your money. It’s a good idea to take advantage of the free drinks in the casino but it’s a bad idea to get too drunk because you might lose your sense of judgment and bet more than you planned.
Director Martin Scorsese’s Casino is a mob film dialed up to 11. This movie tells the story of Sam “Ace” Rothstein (Robert De Niro), a Las Vegas gambling kingpin funneling money to his mob elders back east in what he calls a morality car wash. The supporting cast, especially Sharon Stone as ginger hustler Ginger McKenna and Joe Pesci as the sleazy Nicky Santoro, add tremendously to this thrilling movie. Despite being nearly three hours long, the film never lags or runs out of steam thanks to the taut direction and masterful editing. Casino is a must-see for any fans of crime dramas and mob movies. This movie is also an excellent primer on the mobster lifestyle and how it can lead to corruption.
