In addition, casinos are able to offer free drinks and cigarettes while gambling, hotel rooms, meals, show tickets and other inducements to big bettors. These incentives are known as comps.<\/p>\n<p>A classic casino scene is one of the most recognizable elements in any movie, whether it\u2019s a thrilling heist or an epic game of poker. While many movies focus on the glamorous side of Las Vegas with opulent rooms and neon signs, few capture the dark underbelly that is often associated with the city. However, Martin Scorsese\u2019s Casino does just that, shedding light on how the mob took over a town minting billions in profits.<\/p>\n<p>While this film may not be for the faint of heart, its depiction of violence and corruption is realistic and gripping. The characters in the movie are mired in greed and treachery and get their comeuppance at every turn. This is made possible by the excellent acting of Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone and Joe Pesci.<\/p>\n<p>Casino is also notable for introducing the term \u201ccomp\u201d to the public.
