Poker is a card game in which players place bets (representing money) into a central pot during a series of betting intervals. Each player is required to make at least one forced bet – either an ante or a blind bet \u2013 before the cards are dealt. Once the forced bets are made, a dealer shuffles the cards and cuts them.
